This was a short hour-long walk up and down the main strip. Unfortunately, nothing was open except a Middle Eastern food market, which then gave me the suggestion to go to as many international food grocers. One happened to be in Yonkers, New York, and I learned to never go to Yonkers by car.
I will forever wonder what this was about, especially since I watched the car pull in and I KNOW that it wasn't about an expired parking ticket. I watched the interaction to ensure the person in the car was safe, and eventually the police officer walked away.

My favourite part of this trip was going to the Guggenheim Museum, going to the top floor, and counting how many people had bald spots or bald heads. Hint: there were a lot. I had also chosen to wear a tiny skirt in 20° weather. That was not my smartest choice.
This is also (currently) the only photo of me featured here. The photo was sent to me at a later date, but still featured.
The only photo of me on this website (besides in the About page, of course). Somehow, the photographer never gets photographed.
I wonder if they were tourists, or some other social group.

A trip with an old friend, Jacob (also seen in from Westt Chester, Pennsylvania (04/25/2025). We had missed the train going back, despite the train that we had to get on being right across the platform, and we had to wait until 10pm for a ride back. What a day!
This was actually technically in Far Hills, New Jersey.
What was he pointing at?
Nothing will ever bring me so much joy as looking at this photo and seeing his smile.
On our way to Mercer Labs (an interactive art museum), our path way blocked my a festival. Oh how wonderful life is.

I remember this art instillation and being in the background of an interview with the creator. It was an interesting concept: a live feed of Dublin where two opposing sides of the world could connect. In perfect New York City fashion, it was shut down a few days later due to public nudity.
Another show of familial love and connection.

Something that's always fascinated me about NYC was people's willingness to walk in the sewer vapour.
I remember I split from my friends to grab breakfast and water and came across this. What a wonderful show of community.
Erik had always told me that food trucks were always a staple of a city, and I always ensure to get some whenever I go.

I went to celebrate my 20th birthday, and this adventure engendered this entire project, as I could not take photos without people in it, so I tested my portrait photography skills instead.
I've always loved photographing familial love. Perhaps it stems from my own issues in my childhood, but it's so lovely to know how much love a parent holds for their child.
I remember that people were doing construction, and a crane was putting something on top of something really tall. I love their reactions.
